After getting lost in the train cat reunites with its owner via Twitter

A suburban cat wandered onto a city-bound train in Dublin, Ireland only to emerge at a city center station. Rail staff took care of it and used CCTV to figure out which station the cat boarded at, and through Twitter, cat and owner were reunited. The cat named Lilou was rewarded with a new rail pass that allows her to ride any train for the rest of her nine lives.

Twitter is going to Launch Official Tweet Buttons This Week



The Tweet button could launch as soon as this Thursday. Twitter is not saying anything about the new button just yet. The feature is mostly complete and is already working, meaning that you can embed the code on your site and the button will show up. However, most users won’t be able to retweet a link with it just yet. There are three versions of the button (110×20, 55×20, 55×63) with five different settings for customization.

According to tracking service GigaTweet there have now been more than 20 billion tweets since Twitter’s origination.

The period comes just two months after the service hit 15 billion tweets and about five months since it reached 10 billion, indicating that activity levels on the microblogging service continue to accelerate.
